What the blog says
Firebird has no story of her own with Simon: the West Coast Avengers are their only link. Bonita Juarez debuts with the Rangers in _Incredible Hulk_ (1962) #265. Mockingbird wants her on the West Coast team, but Hawkeye would rather court a more famous applicant, the Thing, so she leaves without joining. She comes back just in time to stop Hank Pym's suicide attempt, and ends up a reserve Avenger. — Wonder Man
